B&B ‘t Bloemenveld is located in the quiet village of Ritthem, surrounded by nature yet close to Vlissingen. An ideal base to discover Walcheren.
Rammekenshoek Nature Reserve
A short distance from the B&B lies the Rammekenshoek nature reserve. You can walk here along forests, creeks and salt marshes, with views of the Westerschelde along the way. In the area you’ll also find Fort Rammekens, the oldest sea fort in Western Europe. It’s a peaceful place to get outside and enjoy nature and the birds.
Walking
Discover Zeeland’s nature during a walk through Rammekenshoek and along the Sea Dike, with views over the Westerschelde and the old Fort Rammekens (±2 km, 30 min). But there are many more great walking routes in the area!
Cycling
Ritthem is located on several cycling routes, including the LF Coastal Route, perfect for exploring Walcheren by bike. Cycle to Vlissingen, Middelburg or along the dunes, for example.
